MAYDAY is proud to support a highly reputable multi-discipline law firm with the recruitment of a Junior Legal Secretary.
A fantastic opportunity for an individual with 1-2 years legal admin experience who is looking to secure a position which will allow them to develop a long-term career and grow within a pioneering and forward-thinking law firm.

    Main responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support directly to commercial and workplace practice groups.

  • Ability to handle pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and fast, accurate typing skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Positive attitude and proven flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite for editing and formatting extensive documents.
  • Tasks include opening files, court filing, and preparing briefs.
  • As a member of the admin team, you’ll assist all practice groups and handle overflow work.
  • Maintain office procedures and protocols for various administrative activities.

    The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ legal admin experience.

  • Completed a Cert III in Business (Administration).
  • Attitude is key, we are seeking a hardworking, driven and professional individual.
  • Highly computer literate and a strong administrator.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
