REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Shipping/Maritime, Supply Chain & Logistics, or relevant discipline
• 1 to 5 years of work experience in vessel operations for LNG, chemicals or oil tankers in a shipping or trading company
• Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Able to work independently and as a team member.
• Able to work outside office hours if necessary.

• Provide detailed voyage instructions to vessels
• Plan each voyage to align fulfillment to the Company’s contractual commitment and safeguard the company’s commercial interests
• Monitor vessels’ performance such as consumption, speed, and cargo conditions
• Ensure timely issuance of documents such as BL and LOI, surveyor reports, etc.
• Anticipate and contribute recommended ideas to optimize the schedule
• Managing claims such as demurrage, off-specs issues, additional consumption etc.
• Work closely with ship managers/owners to ensure vessels are running as efficiently as possible, with minimal downtime.
• Liaise with various counterparties including but not limited to buyers, vessel crews, port agents, bunker suppliers, surveyors etc.
