Amentum has multiple opportunities for Junior Management Analyst to join our team on our Federal Government contract. This position is remote
THE BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: U.S. citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this location.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 1+ years of experience working with FOIA/PA
- Experience with FOIA Xpress a plus
- Previous experience in a remote role desired
- Fact-finding and problem-solving skills, with proven analytical skills
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Computer skills required:
- MS Office Suite proficiency.
- Must be able to learn new systems and applications.
- Must be able to create graphs and charts and draft technical and administrative documents.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and relate well to others
- Ability to manage individual workflow effectively and improve processes when necessary
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers both in written and verbal communications
- Positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction
- Ability to show initiative and commitment to the company’s goals

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of FOIA/PA and the ability to process requests.
- Possesses the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing).
- Requires guidance from senior-level analysts
- Intake and Initial FOIA requests.
- Review documents and identify needs for external consultation or further internal coordination before release.
- Maintain and update records of FOIA requests and responses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support internal teams in allocating resources for the timely fulfillment of FOIA requests.
- Uses initiative, resourcefulness, and sound judgment in reviewing FOIA issues, and in consultation with the FOI/PA Management Team, solving problems not previously encountered, and researching trends and patterns to develop new methods or propose new policies.
