Description:
CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
- AS or BS Degree in a STEM related field or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience
- One+ years of manufacturing engineering experience. Internship experiences will be considered
- Ability to learn and understand/interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Desire to develop skills in aerospace manufacturing and part processing
- Strong self project management and communication skills are required
- Skills with NX, Teamcenter and/or PPAP is highly desirable
- Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities:
- Develop manufacturing processes and create Work Instruction Packages
- Complete Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and all manufacturing readiness level (MRL) activities
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend/implement process improvements
- Perform root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
- Perform process tryouts; evaluate process certification gaps and recommend actions plans to
achieve CPK values
- Design tools or fixtures, create tool notifications, and perform tool application studies
- Participate in lean manufacturing events to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Act as manufacturing liaison for engineering team
