Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Maritime Technician - suitable for a fresh graduate!
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a young and innovative environment, combining technical expertise with hands-on experience onboard vessels calling Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct installation, crew training, and testing of Captain’s Eye systems onboard vessels calling Singapore.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure optimal functionality of the Captain’s Eye systems.
- Handle inventory and HW orders
- Collaborate with the engineering team to continuously improve the performance and reliability of the systems.
- Take initiative to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate self-learning capabilities.
- Think outside the box to address challenges and adapt to changing requirements.
Requirements:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with vessel crews and engineering teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with AWS and Linux operating systems is a bonus.
- Willingness to travel and work onboard vessels as needed.
