In this role you’ll be joining Darktrace’s Network Team and will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure, whilst advising and supporting the business on a 3rd line basis.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectations of 2 days a week in the Cambridge Office.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A CCNA or equivalent accrediations.
  • A good understanding of network fundamentals and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, multicast, etc.)
  • Experience designing and operating datacenters, as well as WAN, campus, and cloud networks.
  • A proven track record of implementing high-reliability computer networks for large-scale industrial (preferably related to automation) applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, build, and operate our network infrastructure to drive our business, leveraging both on-prem and cloud technologies
  • Automate repetitive tasks and help to build a more autonomous network
  • Deploy, configure, and continually assess wireless coverage and connectivity in both green and brownfield projects
  • Assist the operations team through networking advice, guidance and upgrades for hosted environments
  • Internalize a security-first mindset and evangelize best practices
  • Participate in team meetings with opinions, ideas and suggestions
  • Support the user-base in a third line function as an aspiring networking expert
