KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Up to 2 years apparel experience in a Production Coordinator/ Assistant role.
  • Technical skills such as advanced Excel, Illustrator or Indesign and MS Office Suite or knowledge of garment construction is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience liaising with Offshore suppliers.

Responsibilities:

ROLE:

We’re seeking a highly proactive, detail-oriented Junior Production Coordinator to join our client’s close-knit and supportive team.
As a key member of the production team, you’ll work closely with the production manager, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our production process. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and loves making things happen.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily communication with overseas suppliers to track the full sampling process and ensure adherence to specified timelines.
  • Creating tech packs for suppliers and vendors and collaborate closely with the design team.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to meet milestone tracking deadlines and keep our production schedule on track.
  • Managing purchase orders and raising indents to facilitate smooth transactions and accurate documentation.
  • Inspecting lab dips, print strikes, trims, and samples upon arrival, preparing them for customer submission with precision and attention to detail.
  • Participating in fit sessions, capturing crucial notes to inform product development and ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Costing new styles to contribute to our competitive edge in the market.
  • Proactively reporting any production or delivery issues in weekly meetings with the Executive team, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining our commitment to excellence.
