Description:
Securitas Technology are currently recruiting a Junior Project Administrator. This position will report directly to the Project Administrator and liaise accordingly with Finance, Procurement and Logistics and any other relevant persons to achieve their duties on a day-to-day basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external personnel.
- Ability to work under pressure within a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Self-motivated individual with drive, enthusiasm and commitment
- Excellent organisational, analytical and time management skills
In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Keyboarding, computer usage and various systems utilized by the Accounts/Projects Dept
- Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
- Reading and analyzing reports and data
Responsibilities:
- Support the project administration function.
- Create demands for open projects
- Create Purchase Orders for works/costs on open projects
- Liaise with Installation Manager weekly re allocation of new projects to Project Managers and update Financial system accordingly
- Process engineer timesheets onto Financial system.
- Process Per Diem allowances onto projects where applicable
- Process stock usage reports in system
- Work with project managers to clean and close projects
- Communicate directly with other departments regarding projects.
- Complete month end checks and run month end reports
- Provide cover for colleagues during absence for holidays and sickness.
- Any other Ad hoc projects as requested
