(Junior) Project Engineer with a focus on quality assurance (all gender)

at  Hexagons Safety Infrastructure Geospatial division

You will involved from the initial requirements analysis for our products to the final roll-out at customer-site and in this way contribute to the high quality of our products at the interface between development and users.

• You will support our project teams throughout the entire handling of a project, from the definition of requirements to the final acceptance of our (GIS) software products and IT systems
• Together with our interdisciplinary team, you will translate the wishes and needs of our customers into technical requirements, which build the basis for our development team
• You will create test cases and test procedures as well as automated tests if required
• You will define the requirements for project-specific test environments and help set them up
• You will plan and carry out quality assurance measures independently
• You will document the test results to ensure transparent communication internally and with our customers
• You will enhance our quality assurance processes
• You accompany the implementation and commissioning of our products on customer-site
• You have a degree (Bachelor / Master) in the field of surveying, geography, geoinformatic, informatic, business informatics or a comparable education
• You are a team player and actively contribute yourself and your ideas to your working environment
• You can prepare and communicate technical issues to different target groups
• You have specialist knowledge of geoinformation solutions or AI software products
• You enjoy working at the interface between users and technology
• Ideally, you already have experience in the field of quality assurance
• You have a class B driving license
• You have very good German and good English language skills in both written and spoken form
