The Nitty Gritty:
Big Viking Games is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. As a QA Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our social and mobile games by creating and executing meticulous test cases. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to delivering the best gaming experiences to our loyal fanbase. This position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work.
REQUIREMENTS
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct upstream testing and analysis to prevent bugs from infiltrating the integrated game code.
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering all aspects of the product, from end to end.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the product, recognizing the relationships and dependencies between features and functionality.
- Perform test routines for integration, system, load, and performance testing.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve optimal results.
- Actively participate in the development process, ensuring deliveries meet design criteria and attest to their stability.
- Catalogue issues found during QA testing, prioritizing them based on severity.
- Assist other departments in creating promotions for live users.
The Essentials:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a QA environment, with experience testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for bug management and report generation.
- Experience with Test Run execution and manual testing.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with online environment and mobile testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with bug-tracking systems and test case management tools is advantageous.
- Passion for gaming.
