POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Real Estate Analyst to join our team for a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, market research, and analysis to support our real estate investment and development projects. This role involves evaluating real estate properties, markets, and investment opportunities to provide recommendations for optimizing our real estate portfolio.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CCIM) is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in real estate analysis, financial modeling, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling tools and software (e.g., Excel, Argus).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to assess the viability of real estate investments, including cash flow, ROI, IRR, and NPV calculations.
  • Perform market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the real estate market.
  • Prepare and present detailed investment reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the acquisition, finance, and property management teams to gather data and insights for analysis.
  • Review and analyze legal documents related to real estate transactions, such as leases, contracts, and loan agreements.
  • Monitor the performance of existing real estate investments and recommend strategies for value enhancement.
  • Stay updated with the latest real estate market developments, regulatory changes, and economic indicators affecting the real estate industry.
