(Junior) Satellite Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Support the responsible of the work package “System Engineering” in charge of the elaboration, coordination and direction of all system engineering tasks, with particular focus on the following activities:
  • Analysis of applicable customer high-level requirements
  • Flow down of above requirements to functional chains and subsystem requirements
  • Definition of the system architecture as well as the different system components
  • Support in the definition of the Satellite Operations Concept
  • Preparation of system budgets
  • Satellite Engineering Model development, production, assembly and testing
  • Support MAIT in Satellite/System level testing activities (e.g. Satellite Test Campaign)
  • Support SW Engineering in System level activities (e.g. SW Qualification testing)
  • Support the Launch Campaign Satellite finalization activities

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Electronic, Telecommunications, SW Engineering or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in engineering and hardware / software design considered an advantage but not mandatory
  • Eager to learn something new every day
  • Self-managed and pro-active working style
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills
  • Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German or other EU language skills advantageous
