Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • 1 - 2 years of related work experience within a project environment.
  • Primavera experience and or current training required.
  • Tilos experience desired, however training will be provided for the correct applicant.
  • Fast paced project-based environment working with computers and high performing teams experience is essential.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to work well as part of a high functioning team in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline driven environment, ability to prioritize and multi-task and manage client expectations.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with expert level skill in MS Project and MS Excel.

Responsibilities:

ROLE:

The Junior Scheduler is responsible for assisting with planning, developing, and maintaining the project schedule, as well proactively addressing project schedule and production issues. The role includes tracking issues, analyzing data, providing reports to key stakeholders and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with progressing and loading actuals into detailed resource loaded P6 project schedules.
  • Assist with progressing and loading actuals into detailed resource loaded Tilos project schedules
  • Incorporate subcontract schedules into the overall project schedule and apply progress updates.
  • Understand the project life cycle and implement project controls processes and procedures as required
  • Exercise independent judgement in the selection, classification, compilation and analysis of data obtained from a variety of sources.
  • Assist with the revision of complex project schedules for validity, logic, and verify they meet scheduling best practices.
  • Assist with the revision, monitoring with the intent to report on the progress of work and any problems that affect the planned production.
  • Assist with the production of, and maintenance of resource histograms and cash flow analyses in liaison with the Project Scheduler throughout the project life cycle.
  • Assist with the evaluation of actual construction progress, forecast completion dates and provide regular schedule updates with written narratives.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all other essential records and reports for the project/company.
  • Assist with identification and assessing of risks to project profit, costs, schedules, and client relations.
  • Support the project management team to maintain timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems.
  • Assist with compiling an analysis to develop what if scenarios and schedule recovery plans.
  • Provide timeline resource budgeting and forecasting based on the approved estimate.
  • Assist the project manager and functional leads in managing resources.
  • May be responsible for field progress measurement.
  • Highlight potential threats to accomplishing the schedule and/or suggest corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with the project team.
  • Perform thorough QA/QC on all deliverables.
