The Role: Working in the Junior School
Fixed term from July - December 2024
0.6 load (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00am - 4:00pm)

Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Create respectful, trusting and caring relationships with students and families, and the MLC community
- Provide support to students with diverse learning needs
- Continuously expand their understanding of curriculum content and how students learn using research and workplace knowledge
- Liaise with parents of students with additional learning needs and report to parents on a regular basis
- Contribute to the professional development of the Learning Diversity department and Junior School staff
- Work effectively with colleagues to review, develop and implement learning and teaching programs based on the Victorian Curriculum Learning Areas and Capabilities
- Demonstrate effective evaluation, assessment & reporting strategies
- Establish and maintain connections with parents and caregivers and effectively communicate regarding their child’s learning
- Contribute to professional networks in the school and wider education community
