Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the nursing team on the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
CCU is a 22 bedded unit caring for patients experiencing acute cardiac emergencies and is a primary PCI centre admitting patients from all over Wessex and the Chanel Islands. It forms a part of the internationally renowned Wessex Cardiac Centre and many of the consultants covering the care of the CCU patients are both nationally and internationally renowned.

THE MAIN SUB-SPECIALTIES OF ADMITTED PATIENTS ARE:

Interventional cardiology
Heart failure
Electrophysiology
Cardiac imaging
Congenital heart disease

You must have significant experience in a relevant speciality, with the aptitude and skill necessary to lead and motivate a team of nurses and allied health professionals, working closely with the MDT.
