JUNIOR SITE ENGINEER

Requirement:

• Fresh Graduates
• Degree in Civil Engineer or its equivalent, recognized by PEB or IES of Singapore

• Proficient in both MS Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCADGood exposure in design of Civil Engineering works

Job description:

• Provide support to their supervisors throughout the design and development phase.
• Manage day-to-day on a construction site and the main source of technical advice and quality control
• Site supervision, establishment of daily reporting, planning and scheduling of daily activities, coordinate with stakeholders and subcontractors, etc.
• Will be responsible for overall project management and delivery of the project including planning, scheduling and execution
• Make calculations and prepare plans for projects, and oversee and provide reports on progress and issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations
• Oversee the progress of project elements
• Attends project meetings, liaise with clients/ consultants/ technical teams, and resolve any site issues
• Assists in risk assessment, recommendations on risk control measures
• Ensure site safety & compliance to authorities’ requirements
• Make periodic site visits to monitor progress and ensure that projects are completed according to specifications and construction codes
• Provide budget oversight and develop cost estimates for materials and personnel based on documents and project plans
• Throughout the planning and construction processes, provide support in ways that can include gathering data for permit applications, presenting documentation or blueprints to clients, and maintaining records of change orders
• Manage project stakeholders, clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties
• Need to draw using AutoCAD if any design urgent works
• Assist in all other duties assigned by your superiors.
