What We Need
Corpay is currently in search of an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Software Developer to join our IT Development division in the Auckland office. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those early in their career to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment! In this role, you’ll perform systems analysis, design, development, and implementation to internal/external customers on our enterprise-level and legacy products. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and regularly work with our business analysts, quality assurance, technical architects and other members of the IT and Business teams to efficiently develop software solutions.

As a Junior Software Developer, you’ll be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
As part of this role, you’ll gain proficiency in programming languages like C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and SQL and acquire knowledge of best practice in front-end technology while also delving into full stack development. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to make a real impact. As you grow into the role, your responsibilities will expand to include work on new and existing development projects, with an opportunity to bring innovative solutions to the table. Other responsibilities of the role will include:
- Coding software of both front-end and back-end
- Producing software builds in a timely manner and comply to the release management process
- Analysing business requirements and proposing designs to business analytics
- Assisting IT Infrastructure team with implementing system changes
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will have a thirst for knowledge, and experience with C#, SQL, and JavaScript (TypeScript and React is a plus).
