REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience developing complex systems using a high level programming language
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices, such as building monitoring metrics, code reviews and test driven design (TDD)
  • Experience working in cloud environments and developing cloud native applications
  • Understanding of continuous delivery, deployment and integration
  • Working with product to provide technical knowledge and expertise

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Deep understanding of Java 8+ and Maven or other similar technologies
  • Experience with Java frameworks like Vertx or other API tools
  • Knowledgeable about microservices, Kafka and event based systems
  • Database and SQL skills as well as experience with Elasticsearch and BigQuery
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Shows creativity, teamwork, flexibility, independence, integrity and vision
  • Be a quick learner and thrive in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the development and deployment of systems within defined long-term principles and vision. You will get to work with cutting-edge technology and on our industry leading products. This position focuses on back-end processes, developing and maintaining systems to manage platform integrations, inventory processing and publishing and reporting APIs.
This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence 3x per week during normal office hours.
