We are looking for a full-time, permanent Junior Software Engineer to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.
As our new Junior Software Engineer, you will have a direct impact on the future of Contabo by co-developing new sound technical solutions as well as maintaining and improving our current systems. This all happens in a diverse, international, cross-functional team in an agile working environment.
Given our requirements, you are capable of implementing them into functional features, not only the backend part, but also the frontend part. Writing and optimizing unit and integration tests as well as evaluating software candidates for new functions are also part of your daily tasks.
Due to our customer-centric approach, it is essential to keep a watchful eye on scalability and performance, as well as complying to our discussed architecture while implementing. This also includes analyzing and troubleshooting issues.
As we always have an open ear for your ideas, we would like to encourage you to contribute your ideas and experience their implementation first-hand. You should be open to trying out new tools and frameworks and integrating them into our daily work if you see added value in them.
