We build robots and software systems to create affordable personalized cosmetics, so everyone can be who they want to be.
What you’ll do:

Build software and robots to deliver affordable personalized cosmetics to the world. This includes projects like

  • Building robots to help our fulfillment teams ship orders to customers
  • Building a lightning fast ecommerce experience
  • Deploy AI models to help improve manufacturing and quality control (we already use a few AI models like LSTMs and Meta’s SAM in production)
  • Build demand forecasting and inventory management tools

Your role will consist of:

  • Owning projects from start to finish
  • Be part of the architecture design process
  • Be responsible for ensuring performance standards are met
  • Be responsible for maintaining clean code, and refactoring as necessary
  • Write and perform tests
  • Running acceptance testing meetings for your project

Who we are looking for:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • You’re excited to get things done, in a fast-paced environment
  • You work well in teams and enjoy collaborating with others
  • Strong background in back-end software development (Python experience is a plus, but not a requirement)
  • Demonstrated exceptional ability
  • Experience building REST APIs
  • Experience with RDBMS (Postgres experience is a plus, but not a requirement)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with robotics, embedded systems, avionics, or hardware
  • Experience with performance testing and profiling
  • Experience with CI/CD (Docker, Jenkins, Git)

The interview process will consist of the following stages:

  • Application Review
  • Initial Zoom Call
  • Assessments: Culture, Personality, and Technical Assessments
  • Interview: Data Structures and Algorithms; and Culture Interview (2 x 1hr on the same day)

You will be joining a small, tight-knit Engineering Team, and will report directly to Sean (he is our CEO and CTO).
