Join the team as the new Junior Sommelier and get ready to learn from the best in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide wine recommendations, guidance and service to guests during their meal.
  • Familiarise yourself with all wine options, organisation of the storage of wine and operating procedures for the wine program.
  • Learn and execute the wine match options for service.
  • Learn all of the food notes, waiter sequence of service and opening/closing duties to be a part of a conducive and well collaborated team.
  • Communicate any stock running low, any breakages and any other pertinent information to the Head Sommelier.
  • Participate in weekly wine training as well as direct your own self-learning in wine and beverage knowledge.
  • Create cocktail batches as well as all other batched drinks as part of the beverage program when needed to.
