Our breathtaking resort, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will commence a staged opening in 2024, bringing a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre to the river city.
The Junior Sous Chef, reporting to the Sous Chef will become an important part of our pre-opening team. This role offers the opportunity to support the team in ensuring flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service whilst maintaining food safety.

ABOUT US

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.

Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that food is prepared in accordance with menu specifications, presentation guidelines, and kitchen quality standards
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of the complete menu, including all knowledge of the base ingredients and their preparation
  • Supervise and promote exceptional guest service and interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain food costs and stock control
  • Effectively manage incidents and complaints accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure service is fast, fun, friendly, fresh and focused
