JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Junior Sustainability Specialist (6 months internship) for our fast-growing business in Italy.
This is a key role in the Sustainability team, supporting our fast-developing pipeline with a strong focus on sustainable development and with the objective of setting a new sustainability standard.
As part of this role you will be:
- Support the implementation of the sustainability action plan in Italy, with a focus on carrying out territorial analyses and developing proposals for environmental and social initiatives on projects along the pipeline.
- Support the development team in the analysis of sustainability KPIs in projects (including on project design). This includes helping to perform due diligence on the portfolio to ensure sustainability elements are considered, and where needed, help to identify high risk areas to that require working with business to be mitigated.
- Participate in data collection for quarterly reporting, ensuring the process is carried out efficiently and accurately.
- Undertake research and benchmarking activities on sustainability best practices and stay up to date with changes in the external context.
- Work in a multidimensional environment, also participating in wider EU company projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A passion for sustainability
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Bachelor of Sciences completed
- Master of Sciences preferred, with some specialisation in topics related to sustainability, energy, environmental engineering
- A previous experience will be considered a plus
