Description:
Junior Systems Administrator
Reporting to the IT Manager of Arnprior Aerospace, the Junior Systems Administrator will be responsible for the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware and software that is used by the Portland, OR division of Arnprior Aerospace, Inc.
Core responsibilities
- Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software and networking software products
- Ensure IT compliance with corporate cyber security initiatives
- Maintain asset inventory of devices and all peripheral equipment
- Construct, install, and test customized MS Windows workstations configurations
- If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors
- Support development and implementation of new computer projects and hardware installations
- Provide support with existing telephone system and communication devices
- Manage badging process and building access systems and applications
- Relocating computer related hardware as required

Experience:
Minimum 3 years
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology based field of study or equivalent
Preferred:
Certification(s) or actively working towards any of the following: CompTIA A+, Network +, Cisco CCNA, MS MCP
