JOB SUMMARY

The Systems Developer (ServiceNow) implements solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform that are simple, intuitive, easy to use, and allows customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific business needs.
The Systems Developer (ServiceNow) will work in a team setting on various projects and take the customer’s requirements/stories and build them on the ServiceNow platform. They have an understanding of the various ServiceNow Products (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, HR, SecOps, CSM, GRC, etc.), may have deep strengths in one or several of these, and understands how the ITIL framework can be leveraged to create best practices for the customer.

Responsibilities:

As a Developer specializing in ServiceNow with a strong understanding of SAAS, your primary goal is to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of innovative and efficient solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
Your role involves leveraging expertise in ServiceNow development, SAAS applications, and a range of technical skills to enhance and optimize digital workflows. Key responsibilities include.

Custom Application Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring they align with business requirements and enhance overall workflow efficiency.
  • Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team.

UI/UX Development:

  • Utilize skills in Angular, CSS, and other front-end technologies to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for ServiceNow applications.

Integration Pipelines:

  • Implement and manage integration pipelines, ensuring seamless connectivity between ServiceNow and other systems. Leverage traditional API integrations to enhance data exchange capabilities!

Cloud Platforms & SAAS Expertise:

  • Apply knowledge of wider SAAS principles to optimize the integration and performance of ServiceNow within the broader ecosystem of SAAS applications.

Technical Documentation:

  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions, ensuring clarity for both development and operational teams.
  • Work in a Scrum-based, Agile development process that is efficient on documentation and meetings and heavy on coding.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and QA testers, to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and system led expert guidance to other members of the team.

Problem Resolution:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring the continuous functionality and reliability of ServiceNow applications.
  • Be responsible for updating, maintaining and communication impact of HI Tickets resolution on ServiceNow.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, industry best practices, and emerging technologies, ensuring the application of the most relevant and effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of customer needs and requirements.
