Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the National Manager Technology, you will be accountable for supporting the development of parking access control solutions, developing the software projects, and be involved in planning and implementing changes to infrastructure and software. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure the seamless integration of new systems.
This role will be offered as a permanent full-time position, based in our office at Melbourne Central. We offer hybrid working (3 days in office), and access to a car park. This role will be automous however you will have support from the wider team. You will have the opportunity to ‘put your own stamp’ on this role and being your own ideas to the table! RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Software Development: Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain software solutions. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • System Analysis: Assist in analyzing user requirements and system specifications to design and develop appropriate software solutions. Participate in requirements gathering sessions and contribute ideas to improve system functionality.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Documentation: Document code changes, technical specifications, and system architecture diagrams. Keep documentation up-to-date to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, system architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
  • Learning and Development: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. Continuously enhance technical skills through self-learning and training opportunities
