REQUIREMENTS

• Technical Knowledge – willingness to gain constantly new technical knowledge according to the demands in the field.
• 1-2 years refrigeration field experience.
• Good communication/team-player – to customers, as well as to supervisors, dispatchers or colleagues.
• Time Management – any activity must be performed in respect of the given timeframe - persistent, focused on targets/results, flexible, working independently and in teams.
• Valid driving license.
• Technical Education to self-reliant work on complex refrigeration systems (electrical and mechanical)
• ITI / Diploma in refrigeration.
• MS Office – user knowledge.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The main role of the Technician is to perform jobs given on weekly basis by direct supervisor, carries out maintenance contracts and attends some warranty related jobs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installing and commissioning refrigeration systems, including commercial and industrial refrigeration units, walk-in coolers, freezers, and multi air conditioning units.
• Performing routine maintenance checks on refrigeration systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with refrigeration systems, such as leaks, faulty components, and electrical problems.
• Repairing or replacing defective parts in refrigeration systems, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant lines.
• Testing and adjusting refrigeration systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards. 6. Providing technical support and guidance to customers on the proper operation and maintenance of their refrigeration systems.
• Staying up to date on the latest technologies and trends in the refrigeration industry.
• Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to develop innovative solutions for improving refrigeration system performance and efficiency.
