REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education:Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in German is mandatory combined with English
  • Testing Skills: Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with testing tools and software development life cycle (SDLC) is a plus.
  • Attitude: Eager to learn, with a proactive and positive approach towards new challenges.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Analyst to join our Financial and Banking team at Cognizant. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with basic testing skills who are eager to grow their career in the field of software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Testing Execution: Conduct basic testing tasks to ensure software quality, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Test Case Development: Assist in the creation and maintenance of test cases, scripts, and documentation.
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects using appropriate tools and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and developers to provide updates and report on testing progress.
  • Learning and Development: Continuously improve testing skills and knowledge by participating in training sessions and staying updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools.
