Description:
iFAST Global Bank Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented junior Treasury analyst (school leaver) to join our expanding team. As a Junior Treasury Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our treasury operations and contributing to the overall success of our banking operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with cash management activities, analysing and reporting treasury transactions, monitoring liquidity and interest rate risks, and supporting other treasury functions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior treasury professionals and gain exposure to various aspects of treasury management in a fast-paced banking environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of banking operations and treasury management principles

Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily cash positions and ensure accuracy of cash forecasts
- Assist in managing bank accounts and cash balances to optimize liquidity
- Monitor interest rate movements and evaluate potential risks
- Support the execution and settlement of treasury transactions
- Assist in preparing financial reports for management and regulatory requirements
- Analyze and reconcile treasury transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper classification
- Collaborate with various teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Assisting with small audits
