KEY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS THAT WE WILL LOOK FOR:
- Educated to University level in relevant subject or an equivalent level of experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of web development practices
- Up to date knowledge of best practices in accessibility, user-centred, universal and mobile web design
- Current knowledge of trends in web design
- An understanding of accessibility standards and its application
- Competent in designing accessible, engaging web-based courses and/or content
- Experience of delivering project outcomes on time, in budget and to spec
- Experience of working successfully on complex projects with key stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to express complex and technical ideas in plain English to a variety of audiences
- Technical skills in: HTML5 and CSS3
Responsibilities:
- Developing accessible and engaging online learning content with a range of production tools
- Converting academic course materials into engaging online learning content
- Contribute to the development and design aspects of online content.
- Working closely with the design teams who are engaged in creating blended learning versions of existing face to face modules and short courses
