KEY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS THAT WE WILL LOOK FOR:

  • Educated to University level in relevant subject or an equivalent level of experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web development practices
  • Up to date knowledge of best practices in accessibility, user-centred, universal and mobile web design
  • Current knowledge of trends in web design
  • An understanding of accessibility standards and its application
  • Competent in designing accessible, engaging web-based courses and/or content
  • Experience of delivering project outcomes on time, in budget and to spec
  • Experience of working successfully on complex projects with key stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to express complex and technical ideas in plain English to a variety of audiences
  • Technical skills in: HTML5 and CSS3

Responsibilities:

  • Developing accessible and engaging online learning content with a range of production tools
  • Converting academic course materials into engaging online learning content
  • Contribute to the development and design aspects of online content.
  • Working closely with the design teams who are engaged in creating blended learning versions of existing face to face modules and short courses
