Responsibilities:

As a Junior WTG Project Engineer within our Technology Team, you will support the development of our current and future offshore wind farms. You are expected to,

  • Be part of a project team which is focused on winning concession areas for offshore wind development or bringing development projects towards financial close
  • Calculate wind farm energy yields using dedicated software packages and considering the interaction with soil conditions and cable layouts
  • Simulate offshore operations in dedicated software packages and consider the interaction between soil conditions and cable layouts
  • Simulate offshore operations in dedicated software packages to optimize wind farm installation durations and adverse weather events
  • Follow-up the interaction in the structural design process between the foundation designer and the turbine manufacturer
  • Assess site suitability of WTG types and coordinate site suitability with WTG manufacturers.
  • During project development, you will identify and manage the technical interfaces between the WTG package and other project packages (foundations and electrical packages)
  • Have a strong working relationship with WTG Supplier’s project team and you will report to the WTG package manager and work closely together with other project team members
