DESCRIPTION

• You follow up on Belgian and European law and some related branches of law;
• You analyze and communicate the impact of legislation, case law and legal doctrine in the areas of general commercial and contract law, consumer relations and market practices, competition law, legislation on market practices, real estate, security (including cybersecurity, NIS2, legislation on camera security) and the like on the trade and services sector;
• You provide information and advice to member companies and represent their interests at regional, federal and European level;
• You develop, in close consultation with the Head Legal & Tax, a strategic vision on real estate as well as security in the trade and services sector, which you will proactively defend to the cabinets;
• You are responsible for the Security Committee as well as the Real Estate & Expansion Committee of our client where you prepare sector positions together with the specialists of the companies and you also coordinate thematic working groups;
• You work with our client’s ‘lobby’ team on a wide range of legal issues;
• You will build an extensive network among our members and partners.
