Description:

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU?

  • Demonstrated experience selling ongoing services, products, and solutions within the Electrical Manufacturing sector supporting the Mining, Utilities, or Heavy Industrial industries.
  • An Electrical Trade OR Tertiary Engineering qualification (Desirable).
  • A current full Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Experience working in a role involving performance indicators, sales targets, and reports.
  • A strong service orientation with high levels of initiative.
  • Ability to work interstate and intrastate as required.

Responsibilities:

To meet the strategic needs of our business, Ampcontrol are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team, based in Kewdale. The successful candidate will represent Ampcontrol’s broad range of electrical products, services, and solutions across Western Australia.
To continue the success and growth of the business in the region, this role will focus on maintaining existing customer relationships, as well as identifying new WA sales opportunities across Mining, Utilities, and other identified industries.

Key functions of this role include:

  • Establishing a reputation within the regional customer sites as a valued advisor and solutions provider.
  • Vetting of tender documents, communication with clients, and preparing summaries to the Solutions Manager.
  • Sales planning to target and maintain specific markets developed with the Services Business Managers.
  • Build and implement targeted marketing and advertising campaigns for business development.
  • Provide suggestions for enhanced and updated products in the Ampcontrol range.
  • Travelling to other Ampcontrol and customer sites as required.
