Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Intertek Semko AB is looking for a Key Account Manager in Finland. We have a developed customer base with whom we want to further develop our business and many of these customers are international groups with headquarters in Finland. You will have your own customers and be responsible for sales of testing and certification services to product-producing companies.
The role is part of the Electrical & Network Assurance business area. The focus is sales of our services on the Finnish market. In order to be able to take on this role, you have to be driven, have a self-motivating attitude and also be able to handle freedom with responsibility. The work includes travel both nationally and internationally to both customers and colleagues at other Intertek offices.
In this role, you will be located at Intertek’s office in Vanda, Finland. Working from a home office is also a possibility. You will be travelling around a lot in Finland during your work week. As a Key Account Manager within Electrical & Network Assurance, you are part of the company’s Sales & TSM & Marketing organization and will report to the company’s Sales & Marketing Director in the Nordics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for sales, with your own sales budget within various services/industries within the framework of Intertek’s operations. Especially Finnish companies that develop and sell products/services where the need for test and certification services within the framework of Electrical & Network is required
  • Communicate on a daily basis with the company’s TSM (Technical Sales Management) team as most of the services will be delivered from Intertek in Stockholm, Sweden, but also in some cases from Intertek globally
  • You are selling towards existing as well as new customers, and are building relationships with the customer, through meetings and other customer activities
  • Run and administer your entire business within the scope of your role
  • Contract negotiation/price negotiation towards different levels (decision makers and other clients)
  • Administer in the company’s CRM system iConnect and other systems connected to the responsibility
  • Assist in marketing Intertek and its services at events. Propose, implement, follow up and evaluate activities together with the company’s marketing team
