Description:

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Minimum 3 years previous relevant experience in food ingredients/flavour industry
  • Proficiency in delivering engaging presentations utilizing technical terminology.
  • Proven expertise in commercial strategies, account management, and familiarity with digital tools for account management.
  • Demonstrated strength in relationship building and negotiation skills, with high degree of self-awareness.
  • Capability to collaborate across functions to spearhead customer briefs while overseeing various stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of the food and beverage industry within Australia.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or similar background is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for Kerry’s products & technologies.
  • Secure new sales opportunities by demonstrating health and taste trends/concepts to existing/potential customers based on market trends.
  • Manage your sales coverage and pipeline growth by being a product expert on Kerry ingredient collections portfolio and communicating the Kerry value proposition.
  • Build effective customer visit plan and strategy to proactively target new customers.
  • Responsible for delivering positive results on organic revenue growth, new business growth and margin targets.
  • Negotiate, promote, and demonstrate product offerings to build and deliver a strong consistent pipeline.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the customer experience.
  • Ability to analyze opportunities and construct a customer engagement strategy.
  • Collaborate with peers and mentors to benefit from continuous development and sharing of best practices.
  • Work with internal pricing and finance teams to build quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Maintain SFDC (cloud-based CRM system) with records of key sales opportunities and call reports.
  • Collaborate effectively cross functionally with the broader Kerry Sales & Supply team.
