GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Key Account Sales Manager will use marketing and product initiatives to position Warrior and Brine brands to optimize the sales of product to assigned accounts. You will be responsible for achieving quarterly goals as well as managing promotional sales. You will partner with the National Sales Manager to develop accurate and realistic go-to-market plans, quarterly assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans. You will ensure that inventory levels are aligned with sell-through, margin, and turn objectives. In this role, you will balance the merchandising needs of the account with Warrior and Brine’s product placement objectives. You will manage all aspects of brand presentation with accounts—advertising, in-store, online—and ensure proper return on investment is achieved. As an integral member of the Sales team, you will conduct reviews with customers, provide account feedback to sales and product management, and identify product opportunities. You will be accountable for the accurate execution, management, and timely coordination of account orders including entry, tracking, order confirmation, and delivery information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years sales experience in related field
  • Must have extensive knowledge of MS Office, with a focus on Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must have a strong understanding of financials related to sales.
  • Knowledge of lacrosse and hockey equipment and products is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and exhibit the ability to work directly with clients daily.
  • Must have strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to speak French is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Maintain and develop relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and increase market share.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential key accounts.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on Warrior Sports’ product lines and features to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
  • Liaison with Product Managers to develop and learn product lines.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with key accounts to secure profitable agreements.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to account management.
  • This position is remote/home office-based, but the incumbent must be able to travel.
