ONCOLOGY KEY ACCOUNT SPECIALIST – ONCOLOGY IMMUNOTHERAPY - AUSTRIA M/W/D

As part of a new European team across multiple countries, IQVIA’s international talent acquisition team is recruiting for an Oncology Key Account Specialist to cover Eastern Austria.
Our client is a leading biotechnology company that invents, develops, and commercializes life-transforming medicines for people with serious diseases; their therapy areas of focus include rare diseases, infectious diseases, haematological conditions, and various cancers.
Working alongside various commercial and medical colleagues, the job holder will be responsible for driving sales of an EMA approved, PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitor; currently indicated in cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC), basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) – with new indications undergoing clinical development and other exciting assets in the pipeline. REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Highly motivated, experienced pharma industry Sales Specialist with demonstrable success and an existing network of HCP customer contacts (previous product launch phase experience would be useful)
  • Deep oncology therapy area knowledge, ideally within immunotherapy, melanoma or lung cancer, would be highly desirable (minimum 1 year); we would also be very interested in receiving applications from candidates working in other oncological disciplines i.e. haemato-oncology
  • Outstanding communication and engagement skills
  • Strong scientific background – with a minimum requirement for a degree level education
  • Eligible to work in Austria full time (sponsorship will not be available)
  • Fluency in German, with strong English language skills is essential
  • Willingness to travel throughout the territory as required
  • Full driving license.
