Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Cloud sales professional to join our client’s team in Lagos. As a Cloud Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for the achievement of sales targets for the cloud computing business lines through industry scanning, up-selling, cross-selling and creating a niche market in the assigned business sector
- Minimum Qualification: MBA / MSc
- Experience Level: Senior level
- Experience Length: 5 years
REQUIREMENTS:
- First degree in a relevant degree
- Class of degree must be a 2:1 or at least 2:2
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant sales working experience in a similar role in the industry with three (3) to four (4) years in Cloud Sales within the Nigerian environment.
- Familiarity with Public & Private Clouds, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS including AWS, Microsoft Azure, ERPs and Managed services; Azure or AWS-based Cloud Architecture, Internet Technology
- In-depth channel and field sales knowledge with an understanding of the cloud market and business mode
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate cloud computing products’ different features, benefits, and answer all customer objections
- Self Motivated with a high level of discipline, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Team Player with a positive attitude who thrives in a global environment, eager to do more and help out, and views cloud-challenging situations as opportunities
- Highly persistent in sales follow-up conversations, negotiations, and closing sales skills

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cloud Sales Specialist will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy for the Company’s Cloud Services, including identification of key opportunities, accounts, and development of a robust opportunity pipeline.
- Experience in selling cloud services such as -Virtual servers, Public & Private cloud, Managed and On-open Firewalls.
- Lead the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
- Identify and engage senior decision-makers across prospects and key clients, articulating the benefits of cloud, and explore opportunities for the company to gain a larger share of customer wallets.
- Lead the Cloud sales propositions and deliver sales presentations at proposal meetings
- Generate, achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and other KPIs.
- Develop and drive marketing campaigns and lead generation activities to maximize revenue contribution of the Cloud business to the company.
- Build and maintain productive business relationships with key customers and partners.
- Monitor and ensure the provision of the highest quality services to the company’s customers and oversee the design and deployment of an effective customer relationship management framework.
- Prepare periodic activity reports, focusing on the achievement of sales targets and opportunity pipeline.
- Provide market intelligence knowledge by providing information on competition and consumer/market trends in the cloud computing industry.
- Establish, develop, and maintain work relationships with the relevant external customers and internal teams e.g. Cloud pre-sales, cloud technical, customer care, procurement, and finance teams respectively to advance and closeout deals.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline management that ensures personal sales targets are met. This includes owning the entire sales process from prospecting, qualification of opportunities within the pipeline/business sector, and prioritization of activities to the closing of the deal.
- Understand and prepare customized cloud computing proposals, quotations, and service level agreements to meet customer’s needs.
- Perform Cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential cloud customers
- Put maximum effort into avoiding churn and retaining all onboarded cloud customers.
- Prepare and submit all cloud business and sales required reports such as weekly call plans and sales activities.
- Participate in all technology partner and business training, sales programs, and joint marketing activities.
- Ensure effective use of all marketing and internal assets to achieve results.
