Description:
We are currently seeking an Assistant Teacher for a kindergarten based in Sydney, NSW, to help develop children’s potential starting from the upcoming academic fall semester.

Job responsibilities
- Efficiently set up and organize the classroom each day, creating a secure and welcoming atmosphere
- Work in close partnership with the Lead Teacher to ensure the classroom and campus are orderly, clean, and visually pleasing
- Supervise children’s well-being and daily activities, including care routines, meal times, rest periods, and bedtime preparations
- Aid the Lead Teacher in meeting goals related to student enrollment, school accreditation, and active participation
- Engage in respectful interactions with children and their parents, building strong connections with families, educators, regulatory bodies, local community members, and business affiliates
- Execute the curriculum, customized to address the unique requirements of every child
- Support the Lead Teacher in promoting interactive learning, engagement, and activities suitable for various ages
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in preschool/kindergarten early childhood education
- Experience with Montessori methodology
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, team orientation, and customer-focused approach
- Proficiency in computer usage
