Description:
- Kitchen Assistant role based in our residential aged care home in Newcastle
- Permanent Part time position, working 15:00 - 19:00 on a shift cycle which includes weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and cooking of various meals for 60 residents including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
- Support the Head Chef with maintaining a clean kitchen and ordering supplies
- Complying with all infection control and safe food handling procedures
- Timely completion of all required documentation and reporting
- Liaising with our residents, their families, and the care team to create meal plans that our residents will enjoy
