Description:
CONTRACT: PERMANENTSALARY: £18633
An independent co-educational day school for boys and girls from 2 to 16 years. Feeding a total of 700 daily for lunch. This is a term-time plus location, working 42 weeks of the year. This is a Monday to Friday operation with every second Saturday working for hospitality. There is a good amount of hospitality offering at this location. Additional benefit of this location is free parking on site.
We are looking for a talented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at one of our fabulous locations in Hindhead.
You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant.
You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
41 weeks Monday - Friday £18633 per anumn

KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
- Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred

Responsibilities:
- To work well in a team, providing food and a great service
- To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
- Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
- Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
- Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great team player
- Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
