Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- You will prepare our fresh, simple, and delicious Mexican food each day with care and pride.
- You will strictly adhere to our recipes, procedures, and quality standards (training provided).
- You will help us maintain our exceptionally high food safety and hygiene standards.
- You will help keep our kitchen safe, clean, and organised.
- You will help keep our equipment clean and in tip-top working condition.
- You will support your teammates by acting with integrity, compassion, and respect.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Possibly have experience as either a kitchen hand, short-order cook or line chef (although five-star restaurant experience is also welcome!);
- Be passionate and prideful about the quality of your work;
- Be in possession of (or be willing to obtain) a Food Safety Supervisor qualification;
- Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene controls;
- Have at least a medium level of computer literacy;
- Have high energy and initiative levels;
- Have a calm and friendly demeanor;
- Be both reliable and flexible to work across a range of shift days and times.
