Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • You will prepare our fresh, simple, and delicious Mexican food each day with care and pride.
  • You will strictly adhere to our recipes, procedures, and quality standards (training provided).
  • You will help us maintain our exceptionally high food safety and hygiene standards.
  • You will help keep our kitchen safe, clean, and organised.
  • You will help keep our equipment clean and in tip-top working condition.
  • You will support your teammates by acting with integrity, compassion, and respect.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Possibly have experience as either a kitchen hand, short-order cook or line chef (although five-star restaurant experience is also welcome!);
  • Be passionate and prideful about the quality of your work;
  • Be in possession of (or be willing to obtain) a Food Safety Supervisor qualification;
  • Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene controls;
  • Have at least a medium level of computer literacy;
  • Have high energy and initiative levels;
  • Have a calm and friendly demeanor;
  • Be both reliable and flexible to work across a range of shift days and times.
