Description:

We are looking to add new member to our established team at St Mary’s IPH
The key duties for the role will be
Be organised and clean, following Food Safety, Health & Safety and infection control and prevention procedures
Work alongside the head chef and supervisors in maintaining the safe and high standards required for a safe catering environment
Work be team player as well as be able on work on own initiative with and without supervision
Organised, calm and work well under pressure
Able to manage stock rotation, health & safety paperwork
Good communicator
Flexible
The successful candidate must be willing to multi-skill and undertake training and development in order to fulfil the role appropriately
Candidates will be required to complete a Disclosure Barring Check
In your role of a kitchen porter for the private patients ward you will be required to maintain the cleanliness of your allocated area to the National Standards of healthcare cleanliness 2022.
You also will be required to liaise with the head chef, supervisors, collegues & clinical team to support the high standards of care associated with the place of work.
You wil help with putting away of stock after deliveries as well as managing stock rotation
Working across the sites is encouraged as much as one is based in St Mary’s
Adhere and mainatin to the food safety & allegen safety standards
Work along the catering team & chefs in food prep areas and maitnaing cleanliness
Complete the mandatory paperwork needed to support the work required
