Kitchen Porter/ Storeman

KEY SKILLS:

• Ensuring all stores are kept to a good standard of cleanliness
• Accept all deliveries ensuring correct temperature and quality of goods
• Fill out all due dilligence paperwork pertaining to deliveries
• Experience of pot wash duties
• Excellent customer service skills
• Great team player
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Operate industrial dishwasher

KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
