You can learn more about the position in the job description attached.
Responsibilities:
We are looking to hire a Knowledge Exchange Manager to join us on a fixed-term contract until February 2026, to support the delivery of a key innovation project that has the potential to transform the way healthcare operates globally. This project will be working in conjunction with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the Brighton & Sussex Medical School and will have global reach through the LSTM hubs in Malawi, Kenya, Cameroon and Zimbabwe, providing a platform for cross-fertilisation of initiatives, learning from others experiences and reducing knowledge silos. The role will be pivotal in identifying knowledge gaps, seeking and accessing appropriate content and providers and building effective knowledge networks and relationships across the consortium and wider landscape.
The post will lead the development of a number of aspects of the Knowledge Exchange training across LSTM, ensuring this is done in alignment with other commitments to the Knowledge Exchange Concordat, the Researcher Development Framework, the Technician Commitment and alongside activity of the LSTM Learning and Development team.
Working across the LSTM group, the Knowledge Exchange Manager will develop strong relationships and play a vital part in helping LSTM to embed and increase KE awareness, activities, and impact within its research. This will be achieved through advising academics (including students) and programme teams to ensure that they achieve the maximum influence from their activity and will involve evaluating and implementing internal Knowledge Exchange training programmes, building researcher and professional staff development competencies.
