Description:
Interior Health is hiring a permanent full-time Knowledge Facilitator, Vulnerable or Incapable Adults who is passionate about making a difference in healthcare. The location of this role is flexible within the Interior Health region.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree in a related health sciences discipline.
- Five to seven years recent related experience working with vulnerable adults and the application of applicable legislation.
- Experience providing consultation services in a health care setting that includes the responsibility for the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex service delivery systems.
- Current practicing registration with a relevant professional association.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrated extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in the care of vulnerable adults.
- Demonstrated ability to guide individuals toward the vision of the organization while fostering teamwork and commitment to excellence in the provision of care.
- Diplomacy and integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and support change that is consistent with the vision, purpose, and operating principles of the Quality Risk and Accreditation Department and IH.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to identify variances and implement strategies that lead to desired outcomes.
- Ability to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate care outcomes.
- Ability to apply the problem-solving process demonstrating critical thinking, decision-making skills, and systems analysis.
- Ability to define own continuing education needs and maintain competency through reading literature, attending management workshops and seminars, and participating in other educational offerings.
