DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Crowe is looking for motivated individuals to join its Healthcare Consulting practice. This person will be responsible for developing deep specialization in hospital reimbursement for related customer service delivery but participate in and be excited about the application of technology and differential solutions to solve hospital reimbursement challenges and needs. The ideal candidate would come with a desire to thrive in a health system consulting environment with goals of solving problems for our customers and helping contribute to the future growth of the business. This person would possess strong analytical skills, an ownership mindset, and a commitment to teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. CPA license preferred but not required.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and familiarity with working with complex financial data sets.
  • Must possess the ability to analyze healthcare finance activity and effectively problem solve various scenarios.
  • Must be a strong Excel user with thorough understanding of most formulas used in Excel.
  • Must have attention to detail and ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment.
  • Requires strong written and verbal communication including effective presentation skills.
  • An understanding of healthcare financial accounting and reimbursement, including but not limited to S10 reporting, cost report preparation, wage index filing, DSH, Medicare bad debts, etc.
  • Must have a solid reputation and references with previous employers, clients, contacts, etc.
