We are seeking a LCS Project Manager Canada to direct, coordinate, and lead all LCS aftermarket activities of projects & assigned staff.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Requires an University Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience normally gained through 5-7 years of related work history with progressively more responsible and complex assignments
  • Knowledge of business administration, process and structural knowledge, and knowledge of policies, directives, guidelines, and standards. Must have strong knowledge of Krones product line, metric system, and blueprint reading. Requires exceptional interpersonal interaction skills to negotiate and interact in sensitive, complex situations affecting long-term company issues
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to develop broad policies/procedures affecting many organizational components. PC experience is desirable, especially with applications such as MS Project, Word, and Excel. Experience with SAP also desirable
  • Must have ability to manage a diversified workload and workforce and to perform highly complex work requiring originality and creative thinking plus considerable judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to solve problems
  • General social skills, capacity for teamwork, customer orientation, learning aptitude, problem-solving competence, time- and self-management, coordination and organizational skills, and communication skills
  • Ability to Travel, both domestic and foreign, for approximately 33% of time. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport

    Responsibilities:

    • Application of Safety Standards (Krones & Customer)
    • Direct interface (single point of contact) to the customer for aftermarket inquiries, projects, and/or related tasks
    • Direct partner with LCS Sales & Customer
    • Responsible for aftermarket processing of complex customer projects with close interaction to Sales (LCS Field Sales & SPS Sales Product Specialist)
    • Clarification of complex incoming customer inquiries, if necessary, consultation of others and onsite clarification with customer to confirm scope
    • Coordination of the best commercial, economical, and technical solutions with regards to customer requirements. Close communication to technical departments, line specialists, subject matter experts, etc. Consideration of customer timeline, budget, and technical specifics of the equipment and or line
    • Final quotation preparation and estimated field execution schedule discussion with the customer
    • Coordination of on-time order processing from order intake, order clarification, engineering, manufacturing, shipping, invoicing, to onsite install, commissioning, hand over, and acceptance
    • Technical and process coordination should the job scope utilize different Krones supply centers, and or 3rd party suppliers / OEMs
    • Documented project hand over and/or acceptance (performance test completed and signed)
    • Handling of project related reclamations, claims, and securing of the final payment
    • Budget & schedule (owner) for processing of the orders
    • First contact for customer for all project related tasks and issues
    • Lead customer communications
    • Prep service labor quotes and tech requests
    • Onsite for PM closeout (as needed)
    • Responsible for AT planning, OH issue DML, OH results, and Customer satisfaction
    • Responsible for planned and unplanned service events.
    • Customer interactions (calls, emails, open points, etc.)
    • Down machines as they happen (attend the daily group call if needed, lead customer needs with personal ownership)
    • Call group meetings as needed to help drive outcomes
    • Expectation to provide clear communication and direction to field service personnel for all Krones Regional Service-related items and/or issues. Ensure that field service personnel are responsive to customer needs while confirming field service personnel are projecting an image of quality and respect to the customer
    • Communicates directly with Customers on all matters related to Krones Regional Service, including project scheduling, kick-off meetings, closeout meetings, machine or parts-related problems, warranty questions/concerns, invoicing/money collection, as well as resource scheduling conflicts
    • Communicates directly with Customers on machine problems, service issues, invoicing/money collection, and ensures Customer satisfaction. Assign a high priority to ‘machine down’ events, and high-profile requests from Customers
