Responsibilities:

  • Kubernetes Cluster Management:
  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain on-prem Kubernetes clusters.
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of Kubernetes environments.
  • GitOps Implementation:
  • Utilize ArgoCD for GitOps practices to automate deployment and configuration management.
  • Logging and Monitoring:
  • Implement and manage the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for centralized logging and analysis.
  • Set up and maintain Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting.
  • Infrastructure Automation:
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • CI/CD Pipeline:
  • Collaborate with development teams to create and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security best practices for Kubernetes clusters and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization:
  • Identify and resolve issues related to Kubernetes, containers, and associated technologies.
  • Optimize cluster performance and resource utilization.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.
