Job Description
The Junior Analyst position involves performing due diligence analysis and verification for our investment client’s clients during client onboarding and recertification, as well as contributing to the client’s overall KYC assessment. In addition, the analyst is responsible for maintaining the department’s database and creating reports and statistics that are regularly submitted to senior management.
Functions and responsibilities
- Good understanding of investment principles and familiarity with customer products.
- Knowledge of different types of business entities such as public, private and family owned.
- Complete all KYC documents required for compliance.
- Research legal entities in customer databases, official government documents and other publicly accessible websites.
- Carry out fundamental studies on corporate finance
- Research the economic activities of legal entities using publicly accessible websites.
- Assess customer sensitivity using pre-established guidelines and a grid.
- Contact customers as needed to obtain ownership information or other missing documents.
- Confirm the compliance monitoring procedure by having the KYC form signed and reviewed by the Business Line Manager and Account Executives.
- Participate in process upgrades and assist with process implementation and verification.
- Work on various projects under the direction of the due diligence manager.
Qualities required to succeed in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in administration or business administration and expertise relevant to the main functions described below.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience.
- Experience in the financial field.
- Ability to communicate effectively in French and English (Mandatory)*.

- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the function, which requires interaction with national and international customers.
